The artificial lighting i quite enjoy especially in these settings, especially in the factory shots. The odd white balance on the Sofa shot i quite enjoy.

This was when i was going through an obsession with artificial lighting. Especially with incandescent lighting and cheap superia 400 film

The last photo i took in Coffs Harbour before i left.
I had some friends over if i recall. The incandescent glow reminds me of my room, and the mess, and the vinyl..

Helen Levitt (At Lensculture)

I really like Helen Levitt. I like a lot of street photography, and Levitt’s street photography of New York captures not only the changing urban landscape, but also the human element of change over time, or lack of. I really enjoy the fact that we find no difference at all between both era’s through her work. The neighbourhood children take a major role in much of Levitt’s work, which explores the innocence of children, no matter the era. An African American child playing with a white child on a street in the segregated 1930’s-40’s says a lot about this.
